mixed feelings about the stay

overcooked food poor air conditioning

the pool was decent (it wasn't too crowded).

the restaurant food was pretty bad. everything seemed overcooked, and prices felt high. plus, the photos on the menu looked nothing like what i got. the air conditioning barely worked. i even got a second room key to keep it running while i was out, but it didn't help at all.

a quiet retreat

spacious room great choice remote location bicycle rental

the room was spacious and it had everything i needed. the site overall was wonderful. the restaurant had plenty of choice for both eating and drinking (i really enjoyed their cocktails!).

the hotel was in a more remote location (i already knew this, to be fair). according to some information, bicycles were available for rent, but the staff did not seem to know about this. getting transport was challenging at times.

ineffective air conditioning overpriced food

the air conditioning was not effective at all. hotel staff could only provide a second key to keep the air conditioner running when i was out. they mentioned the compressor did not work at low temperatures however the air conditioner did not work well at any temperature. the restaurant food was also disappointing it was overcooked and overpriced. the food did not match the menu photos i saw.

The room was beautiful. it had high ceilings and a spacious balcony. the restaurant had great food options. the breakfast bar was excellent. I ate heartily! staff were very helpful.

i noticed the location was a bit far from the center. it added a bit of travel time, but not a huge problem.

The receptionists spoke good english. they accommodated my needs quickly. the staff facilitated kayak and paddle board activities plus bike rentals. They were super helpful. the attention was amazing.
